See-Threepio (C-3PO)

Released: 1985
Source: Star Wars Droids: The Adventures of R2-D2 and C-3PO
Accessories: Coin
Articulation: Neck, shoulders, hips. C-3PO features removable limbs.
Notes: The Droids version of C-3PO is a repaint of the C-3PO with removable limbs figure that was first released in The Empire Strikes Back line.- This figure could be found with two different coins. One was a gold colored version of the Power of the Force coin featuring a movie version of C-3PO, the other featured the animated version.

The Run Down: Good old C-3PO! This figure was basically a 1977 sculpt repainted for his Droids release in 1985. I have to admit, when I first got this figure back in 1985, I was disappointed that he didn't look much like he did in Droids. C-3PO is my favorite character from Star Wars so I'm a little picky when it comes to him. The colors are right, but the proportions and the face do not look like the animated character. But that aside, I'm very glad that Kenner did indeed make a Droids C-3PO, and any Droids collection would be incomplete without him. So if you don't have him, find him!
