Tulgah
The Tulgah species have yellow skin, long snouts, clawed bird-like limbs, and are slightly shorter than Ewoks. Not a native species of the forest moon of Endor, several Tulgah are said to have crash landed on the moon hundreds of years before the events of Return of the Jedi. Tulgah have been known to live 200 plus years.
The sorceress Morag is the only prominent Tulgah to appear anywhere in Star Wars media to date. Appearing in several episodes as well as two issues of the Ewoks comic series, Morag was probably the most dangerous enemy that the Ewoks faced. The incredible power displayed by Morag shows that at least some of her species have tremendous potential as users of the Force. The Empire and the Rebellion were certainly fortunate that Morag was no longer alive at the time they came to the moon!
Should the Tulgah be re-introduced to the Star Wars universe? After seeing the hideous little Morag in action, it's hard to imagine a new Tulgah being anything other than a Sith or some kind of villain, but really, the possibilities are endless!
