In February 2018 Hasbro launched a project called HasLab.
"HASLAB is Hasbro's new crowdsourcing platform that hopes to bring dream products into the hands of fans. With your support, our goal is to make products that are trophy items both in significance and size that fans have been clamoring for. Once the campaign is backed with the minimum number of backers as listed by the deadline, Hasbro will bring the product to life." Quotation taken from HasLab website. Here then, is what I am clamoring for: New Droids and Ewoks figures and/or vehicles! |

Here's a few different ideas for how it could be done:
1. Animated style sculpt preferred - Make them look like they do in the cartoons. - 5 points of articulation like the original Kenner figures. - All new sculpts, not reproductions. - Original Kenner style packaging would be amazing! 2. Released as a set - Since HasLab projects look like they will be high price items, many figures could be made at once from one cartoon or both. - Or, just a few Droids and Ewoks figure offerings included in a most wanted obscure figure set drawn from various Star Wars TV series, movies, etc. 3. Vehicle - The White Witch speeder was almost made in the original Kenner line, but only made it as far as the prototype. How about a set of the White Witch with a few figures, Boba Fett's Silver Speeder with figures or both! |

These are just my suggestions, and maybe you have better ones for how it could be done. Different characters could be added or subtracted. Kenner did some early work on figures for Princess Kneesaa, Latara, Teebo and Kaink, and those may be characters that might be more appealing to some collectors than updates to some of the Ewoks figures that were actually produced. Or maybe the pirate Kybo Ren or an animated style IG-88 or BL-17 would be more appealing to add to a Droids set than an A-Wing Pilot.
