Thall Joben

Thall Joben is a speeder racer from the planet Ingo. With his business and racing partner Jord Dusat, Thall dreams of seeing their team winning the renowned Boonta Speeder Race. As the mechanic of the team, Thall is responsible for having built the team's new racing speeder The White Witch. He and Jord become the masters of the droids C-3PO and R2-D2 when they find them wandering the salt flats of Ingo after being abandoned by a previous master.

Thall was piloting the Dune Stinger when he first met R2-D2 and C-3PO on Ingo.

FIGHTING THE FROMM GANG

Thall and Jord come into conflict with the Annoo based Fromm gang when they unknowingly trespass on an area of Ingo desert that is home to a concealed Fromm base. After this initial encounter, the speeder racers lives are in constant danger from surprise attacks.

Thall stows away in a parts crate to infiltrate the Fromm base where the Trigon One is under construction. Due to the confined space he wears a breathing mask that was part of the contents of another crate.

Thall and his friends succeed in stealing the Trigon One and destroying it before it can be used against the Fromm's rival gangs.

MEETING THE REBELS

While on Annoo, Thall discovered that his friend Kea Moll was part of a Rebel cel. Thall, Jord and their droids gladly agreed to help Kea and her allies in their fight against the Fromm Gang.

THE WEAPON OF THE JEDI

Thall discovered a lightsaber that was left behind in his shop by a mysterious customer. Although he rarely uses it, the lightsaber comes in handy for cutting through obstructions.

Thall's lightsaber hilt has an unusual rectangular shape and a simple design.

THE BOONTA SPEEDER RACE

Due to an injury, Jord was unable to pilot the White Witch in the Boonta Speeder Race. While being pursued by the bounty hunter Boba Fett, who had been hired by the Fromm Gang, Thall fled to his speeder and entered the race just as it was beginning. Unbeknownst to Thall, Tig Fromm had planted a thermal detonator aboard the White Witch that was timed to go off during the race.

Thall's White Witch emerges victorious from the Boonta racing tubes despite constant attacks from Boba Fett. Unfortunately for the bounty hunter, the thermal detonator aboard the White Witch became dislodged during one of the attacks and instead lodged itself on Fett's Silver Speeder, destroying the vessel immediately after Fett flew to safety.

Following the race, Thall, Jord and Kea Moll are offered jobs by the famous speeder manufacturer Zebulon Dak. The offer is declined, due to the condition that the droids would have to be left behind. As Thall and his friends departed Boonta aboard Kea's Starrunner, the droids jettisoned in an escape pod, freeing their masters to take Dak's job offer and find a better future.
